QSMC Nurses have made a pledge to GO PINK!

Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people lose their lives to this disease? That's a total of over 3200 Australian's that die from breast cancer every year.
This June, we've made a pledge to WEAR IT, SHAVE IT or COLOUR IT and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. The funds will help research to better uderstand how to prevent, detect, treat and stop breast cancer and ultimately SAVE LIVES!

In the last 10 years, breast cancer diagnoses in Australia have increased by 24%. Each day 5 people in Australiaare diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people a day are dying from the disease. Funding world-class breast cancer research is more important than ever if we want to change the outcomes.
