How do we use Artificial Intelligence (AI) Scribes?

AI Scribes

Our practice utilises AI scribe tools to help General Practitioners take notes during consultations. These AI scribes, like our current tool, Heidi, utilises audio recordings of your sessions to generate clinical notes for your health record.

Heidi:
  • – Does not share information outside of Australia
  • – Stores the audio file only after transcription is complete
  • – Can remove sensitive, personally identifiable information upon request during transcription
  • – For more information on Heidi’s privacy policy click here

Your GP will always seek your verbal consent to use an AI scribe during each consultation, which is documented, and will review the clinical notes generated by the AI to ensure their accuracy.

Document Importing

Our practice utilises AI to assist reception staff to import healthcare documents. This helps our receptionists reduce the workload of manually importing documents. Cliniva works in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, the Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme, the Australian Privacy Principles and any other applicable privacy legislation. CareGP’s privacy can be found here.

Please update your information so we can provide you with the highest-quality health care.
