Code of Conduct

All patients, their families and visitors have obligations to our practice team – our doctors and staff, other patients and visitors to our practice.

To keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing others - this includes mobile phones and electronic games.
To comply with lawful requests by doctors, nurses and practice staff.
To be courteous and polite.
To show consideration and respect towards our practice team, other patients and visitors.
To keep children under control at all times.
To respect the dignity and privacy of other patients.
Not to smoke, consume alcohol or illicit drugs on the premises or grounds.

Aggressive and violent behaviour to any member of our practice team will not be tolerated – this includes verbal, physical or psychological abuse either in person or via the telephone.

Queen Street Medical Centre reserves its rights to take any action which may be necessary to prevent any disruption to any persons. Entering Queen Street Medical Centre practices at Moruya, Broulee, Tuross patients and visitors accept this Code of Conduct.

When our practice doctors or staff believe a patient or visitor’s behaviour to be improper. Our staff and doctors may

Request the patient and/or visitor behave in accordance with this code of conduct.
Decline to continue a telephone conversation or refer the offender to management.
Take all reasonable and necessary steps to remove the offenders from the practice and to ensure they do not return.
Decline to continue to accept the offender as a patient of the practice.
Request the patient and/or visitor behave in accordance with this code of conduct.
