MBBS (Hons UNSW), FACRRM
I am now in the final years of my career as a medical practitioner. It has been an interesting and fulfilling journey. I developed a desire to be a rural medical practitioner with my first exposure to “the bush” as part of my resident medical rotation from St George hospital in 1978. The town was Moruya. It is the place I call home. I think I would be struggling to find a better place to live and work in.
What I particularly enjoy is the sense of belonging that living in a small town brings. Walking through town one never misses on a smile and greeting. We are fortunate to share so closely in the lives of our people, assisting them through their trials and tribulations, sharing in the good times and bad.
Dr Murray sadly passed away Friday 27 October 2017. He is greatly missed by his family, our practice team, his patients and our community. Our Queen Street Medical Centre practice and the significant development of this medical centre in Moruya is testament to his leadership and reflects his enduring commitment towards the better health of our community.
